On May 18, 2026, Stellantis, Accenture, and NVIDIA formally marked the Western automotive industry’s transition into a new phase of global competition, in which the decisive factor is no longer the scale of electric vehicle production, but the speed of integrating artificial intelligence into the industrial operating systems of automobile manufacturing plants.

The joint initiative envisions deploying AI-powered digital twins across all of Stellantis’ production facilities worldwide, creating a manufacturing model in which algorithms analyze data in real time, test operational changes before physical implementation, and synchronize the activities of a global network of factories.

The key advantage lies in a closed ecosystem that combines artificial intelligence, logistics, automotive software, supply-chain oversight, and manufacturing coordination into a single integrated management system.
