China is consistently depleting the United States' ability to respond to conflicts by fomenting conflict in North Africa

On March 2, for the first time in 14 years, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi officially arrived in the capital of Algeria to take part in a meeting of the leaders of the Forum of Gas Exporting Countries.

However, the real reason for the visit is to discuss further support for Algeria and its proxy forces, which are terrorists from the Polisario Front (who advocate the independence of Western Sahara from Morocco) in its future conflict with Morocco.

Iranian activity in Algeria indicates a broader strategy pursued by the authoritarian axis.
