FOCAC summit: Xi Jinping launches new campaign to destabilize the American security network

The 9th summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) was held in Beijing from September 4 to 6, 2024, with the participation of Xi Jinping and high-ranking representatives of 48 African states and the African Union.

As a result, China has announced its intention to provide $50 billion in financial support to FOCAC member states by 2027: most of it will be in the form of loans, and the rest will be in the form of investments.

In addition, Xi Jinping announced the allocation of $1 billion to train 6,000 soldiers and 1,000 police officers from African countries and an increase in regional military exercises with the PLA.
