Although China is the leader in constructing new reactors and owns 50% of all reactors in Asia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Singapore are actively developing plans to build new nuclear reactors and adapt small modular reactor technology to increase capacity.
Global exports of energy infrastructure are becoming a cornerstone for promoting other technology exports and accelerating production reshoring. This process is increasingly integral to global resource management and technological innovation strategies.
