The US is creating a new niche in the commercial passenger transportation market through Autonomous Flying Vehicles (aiEVTOL)

At the end of April 2024, the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) provided financial and infrastructure support to the American aircraft manufacturer Archer Aviation.

The agreement between the manufacturer and the investment fund provides hundreds of billions of dollars in financing, construction of airfields, and a network of stellar infrastructure to bring flying car services closer. Archer’s international headquarters and Center of Excellence will be established in Abu Dhabi as part of the cooperation.

Along with Archer Aviation, another American aircraft manufacturer, Joby, signed a memorandum of understanding with the Abu Dhabi Department of Municipalities and Transport to launch an air taxi.
