The migration crisis in the US allows Trump to successfully “sell” a radical solution to voters

On April 24, during the signing of aid bills for Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan, President Joe Biden said he would make another attempt to pass the border security bill that was rejected during negotiations on his foreign aid package. 

The President’s attention to the issue, while the goal of allocating aid to allies was achieved, underscores the administration’s desire to try to make border policy a major campaign priority and follow the national trend toward addressing the issue of migration policy that Trump has established.

The former president’s harsh and radical statements were supported by a significant number of voters, including neutral voters.
