The increase in activity of youth in the elections and the change of generations prompt Republicans to win youth vote

At the end of April 2024, students from Columbia, New York, and Yale Universities set up tent camps on their campuses to protest in support of Gaza.

As early as April 23, Republican senators sent a letter to representatives of the Biden administration demanding that they “restore order” in educational institutions.

Protests are spreading to other universities, including Harvard, the University of South Carolina, and the University of Texas. The students, who are supported by a significant number of faculty members at leading American universities, claim to be “fighting genocide in Gaza.”
