On April 4, 2024, it became known that the American corporation Alphabet plans to acquire the software development company HubSpot for $35 billion, the largest deal in Alphabet’s history. This deal will allow the company to narrow its competitive gap with rivals Microsoft and Amazon in the cloud computing space.
This deal is not an isolated investment in cloud computing by an American company, as Magnificent Seven companies are actively investing in cloud computing.
