On August 12, 2024, the Democratic National Committee announced that it would raise more than $450,000 for Democrats Abroad, an organization that aims to temporarily motivate U.S. citizens living abroad to register as voters and join the election campaign.
According to Democratic Party strategists, by intensifying work with voters living abroad, Democrats are able to attract the votes of a multi-million electoral cluster that usually does not demonstrate activity in US electoral processes.
