Two days later, Colorado Governor Jared Polis signed a bill initiated and passed in the state Senate that restricts companies from developing and using artificial intelligence.
Thus, Colorado became the first state in the country to regulate artificial intelligence systems and require AI developers to protect their consumers from discriminatory risks.
