This statement emphasizes their pronounced ideological proximity, which resonates with conservative circles in the United States. For Trump, the unification of right-wing forces on the world stage is strategically important; given Orban’s indifference to democratic reforms, Hungary will become the “right” European country for the conservative electorate.

Right-wing forces around the world, and especially in the European Union, have begun to actively capitalize on internal contradictions in anticipation of Trump’s arrival.
