Trump forces Putin and Xi to compete for better terms of compromise with the West

On March 10, in an interview with the Hungarian state-run M1 TV channel, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban spoke about his meeting with Donald Trump during his recent visit to the United States.

Orban said that Trump had developed a comprehensive strategy aimed at a peaceful resolution of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine and reiterated Trump’s position on not providing financial support to Ukraine if he wins the election.

In the same interview, Orban touched upon Trump’s plans to conclude an important trade agreement with China, despite the US-China trade war that took place during Trump’s first term in office, during which the United States imposed unilateral tariffs and used ultimatum language in its relations with China.
