On March 17, on Fox, the former President challenged Joseph Biden to a debate for the second time last month, saying that he would debate Biden “anywhere” and “anytime.”

President Biden does not refuse to debate his opponent but, in his typical joking manner, does not respond directly to former President Trump’s challenge.

The early victories of both candidates in the primaries have elevated the presidential campaign to a new level. The high level of support that Donald Trump has consistently demonstrated has escalated the struggle between the political agendas of the Republican and Democratic parties to an unprecedented level.
