Israel eliminated Hezbollah leadership: strategy to create an influence vacuum by neutralizing Iran’s proxy networks

On September 27, 2024, IDF fighter jets struck Hezbollah’s central headquarters, which was located underground in a residential building in the Dahiya district of Beirut.

As a result, Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah was killed. The operation to eliminate the leader was called “New Order” and was part of a broader operation that has eliminated almost the entire Hezbollah leadership over the past two months.
