On September 27-29, 2024, Kamala Harris’ team held 4,000 campaign events and fundraisers that reached more than 1 million voters.
The events aimed at supporting Harris were held mainly in “swing” states, which the Vice President’s team classified into two conventional groups – the Rust Belt states (Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania) and the Sun Belt states (Arizona, Nevada, Georgia, North Carolina).
Democratic political strategists have determined that Harris must secure support in one of two groups of “swing” states to win the election.
