BlackRock, NVIDIA, and Microsoft’s partnership with the UAE: expanding U.S. influence in the Middle East through AI as a model for spreading into Southeast Asia

On September 17, 2024, American companies BlackRock, NVIDIA, and Microsoft announced a Global Investment Partnership in Artificial Intelligence Infrastructure with MGX, a company from the United Arab Emirates.

The investments will amount to $30 billion of private capital from companies, which will mobilize approximately $70 billion of additional credit funds.

BlackRock’s partnership with the UAE-based company cements Abu Dhabi’s commitment to its technological future with concrete agreements backed by real investment.
