On October 18, 2024, during his speech on Fox News, Donald Trump called on the channel’s owner, American business tycoon and investor Rupert Murdoch, to stop airing ads that harmed the former president’s election campaign.
In addition, Trump promised to tell Murdoch personally that the TV channel should not invite people critical of the ex-president and that the Fox News owner himself should, in Trump’s opinion, help him win the presidential election.
Trump’s statement is a reaction to Kamala Harris’s interview on Fox News two days earlier, which became Harris’s most popular interview with journalists.
