Blinken’s final visit to Seoul: preparing for Trump’s South Korean campaign

On January 6, 2025, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken made his last visit to Seoul during his term. As a result, the United States reaffirmed its commitment to the “iron alliance” with South Korea, regardless of the circumstances and consequences of the country’s domestic political crisis.
